Troubleshooting

• Connection error: verify the database service, credentials, host, port, and database name.

• Unknown database: create the database before importing schema.sql.

• Access denied: grant the configured database user privileges.

• Port already in use: set a different PORT.

• Pages cannot render: start the service from its working directory and build the frontend so public/ exists.

• Email does not arrive: verify every SMTP setting and ensure APP_URL points to the externally reachable application.

• Missing uploads: preserve the repository’s uploads/ directory alongside the database during backups and restores.
