Installation
============

The supported installation procedure is maintained in :download:`INSTALL.md
<../../INSTALL.md>`. It covers MariaDB/MySQL creation, environment setup,
frontend and Go dependencies, source builds, pre-built binaries, migrations,
uploads, and troubleshooting.

The short version is:

.. code-block:: console

   $ bundle install
   $ mariadb -uYOUR_USER -p YOUR_DATABASE < schema.sql
   $ cp .env.example .env
   $ go mod download
   $ make
   $ ./rtcord-v81

The database must exist before startup. ``schema.sql`` is for a new database;
use the individual migrations for an existing installation.
