Overview
========

RtCord has three cooperating parts:

* a Go HTTP server in ``main.go`` and ``handlers/``;
* a Jekyll-authored browser frontend in ``site/``; and
* a MySQL/MariaDB persistence layer defined by ``schema.sql`` and migrations.

The server serves both rendered pages and JSON/WebSocket APIs from one
listener. The default port is ``8090``. Database access is established during
startup, so the process exits before serving requests when the configured
database cannot be opened or pinged.
